OSSIPEE — Chris M. Lamb, a sergeant with the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office who faces multiple indictments related to unemployment fraud, has pleaded not guilty in Carroll County Superior Court and is free on personal recognizance bail.
Lamb, 51, of Wakefield is charged with unemployment compensation fraud (Class A felony), attempted unemployment compensation fraud (Class A felony), theft by deception (Class A felony) and falsifying physical evidence (Class B felony). He was indicted on June 20.
