CONWAY — “People want to get back to normal, we just have to take the safest route possible to get there,” Rep. Ed Butler (D-Hart’s Location) who is into his second week of serving on Gov. Chris Sununu’s Governor’s Economic Re-Opening Task Force, which has been meeting daily since April 22.
Sununu is scheduled to hold a press conference on Friday where he will unveil the task force’s plan to reopen some businesses in the state. The governor’s stay-at-home order, which is scheduled to expire on Monday, is also likely to be extended, following along the lines of Maine, Massachusetts and Vermont all of which this week extended their stay-at-home orders to mid-May.
