CONWAY — Classes at SAU 9 schools were delayed for two hours on Wednesday due to a broken heat pump to the underground boiler system at Kennett High School. Despite the announced delay, some buses had already started rolling, delivering students to KHS before the heating issue had been resolved.

Although the issue was only at the high school, it impacted transportation to the middle and the three elementary school, too, according to Richard.
