BRIDGTON, Maine — On March 28, about a dozen Bridgton residents attended a final planning board hearing on the proposed medical marijuana storefront ordinance to provide input for selectmen prior to the townwide vote in June.

But before any comments were heard, the planning board made an adjustment on the spot to include all caregivers, not only those with storefront locations, in the ordinance. (Marijuana caregivers are licensed by the state of Maine and may sell and cultivate marijuana for patients with a medical marijuana card obtained from a doctor’s prescription.)
