JACKSON — An attorney for the owner of Black Mountain told selectmen at their July 8 meeting they have filed in Carroll County Superior Court to appeal the town's denial in May of their request for information concerning complaints pertaining to the historic ski area’s 90th birthday celebration May 3.

Announcing that litigation was attorney Chris Meier of Cooper Cargill Chant of North Conway, who sat with Black owner/general manager Erik Mogensen at the selectmen’s meeting.
