CONWAY — Carroll County Commissioners’ chair Amanda Bevard Thursday called for Jail Superintendent Jason Henry and County Administrator Ken Robichaud to resign over their handling of the conflict over medication-assisted treatment for opioid addiction.

Two commissioners — Amanda Bevard (R-Wolfeboro) and Terry McCarthy (R-Conway) — have been at odds with Henry for months over whether to provide medication-assisted treatement, or MAT, for addicted inmates after Henry proposed a treatment policy last summer.
