CONWAY – A proposal to have the town take over Common Court and Settlers Green Drive will be heard by selectmen today (Feb. 4). Residents will vote on it in April.

The public hearing will be held at 4 p.m. at the town hall. A similar article failed last year.

No. The town cannot afford to take over maintenance of this commercial access road that is frequently used by trucks in support of large national retail chains. It seems as if they are ignoring necessary maintenance at this point. The condition of the road is indicative of shoddy construction and poor maintenance. Please stop whining "...but school busses use it."
