FRYEBURG, Maine — The University of Maine Extension 4-H June Jamboree, which focused on animal science education, took place last weekend at the Fryeburg Fairgrounds.
Diane Gushee of the Saco Valley 4-H Beef Dairy Sheep and Swine Club said Hannaford provided grants totaling thousands of dollars that helped pay for professionals to give swine and sheep clinics, plus prizes. Other sponsors were Oxford County Extension, Fryeburg Fair and Farm Credit East.
