CHOCORUA — A pickup truck towing a camper was destroyed by fire Monday afternoon after the driver noticed smoke coming from the vehicle while traveling on Route 16, according to Tamworth Police Chief Dana Littlefield.
The driver, Todd Seesman, 46, of Portsmouth, was headed south on Route 16 when he noticed smoke coming from the center console of his 2022 Chevrolet Silverado, Littlefield said. The fire was called in at 12:26 p.m.
