CONWAY — With a new site for the snow stage, due to the base area at Cranmore Mountain Resort being reconfigured by new construction, opening ceremonies were held Saturday for the 27th annual Schneider Cup.

“Kudos to the snowmakers and groomers at Cranmore for setting up a good course and snow stage,” said Tim Whiton, who oversaw his second Schneider Cup as executive director of the New England Ski Museum, beneficiary of the fundraising event.
