FRYEBURG, Maine — The third annual Aviation Day hosted by the Eastern Slope Aviation Academy is set for Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Eastern Slope Regional Airport. The event serves as a fundraiser for the non-profit academy.

This year’s event will feature Discovery Flights over the White Mountains, use of a Red Bird Flight Simulator, silent auction of goods/services from around the Mount Washington Valley, ESAvAc merchandise for sale, 50/50 raffles, live music, vintage cars, airport tours, morning coffee and doughnuts, lunchtime food trucks and an ice cream truck. There also will be several activities for children, including self-propelled balsa wood toy airplanes. WMWV (93.5 FM) will be broadcasting live on-site from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. with deejay Roy Prescott on hand.
