The Pitt fans just learned ahead of Episode 13 of the second season, dropping on Thursday, April 2, that it will be one of the last episodes with Supriya Ganesh as Dr. Samira Mohan.

Ganesh will not be returning for Season 3 in what Variety says is “a story-driven decision.” Interestingly, Mohan was planning on leaving Pittsburgh soon — she was going to go back to New Jersey to be with her mom, only to learn in the premiere that she’s getting married, selling the house, and going on a year-long cruise. That has shaken up the senior resident ever since, as she tries to figure out what she’s going to do next year — she doesn’t have anything lined up at PTMC now — with it contributing to the panic attack she had in Episode 10.
