Howdy neighbor!

As we go to print this week, it is the last of April, which means that Friday is the first of May. May Day. A day which surely needs no introduction here, a day unlike any other in the whole New England calendar; that is if you know how to keep it. You do know how to keep it, don’t you? Of course you do, but now for the benefit of all our Readers from away, unfamiliar with our storied past, here’s a brief recap of how we used to keep May Day here once upon a time.
