Motorcycle week is here! This is the week where it’s enjoyable to see the variety and the multitude of the bikes as they spill over from Laconia to tour our area. Here’s a friendly reminder to keep your eyes open for the two-wheel horses, and take extra time to stop and look before charging into an intersection to beat that oncoming car.

As a former motorcycle owner, I can tell you there have been many near misses that resulted in commands yelled out before the benefit of forethought and planning. Examples of such are “whoa” and “What the (edited) are you doing?!” that make it seem as though I was talking to a horse. Be safe, alert, and plan ahead for your drive.
