The devoted supporters of the Charlotte Hobbs Memorial Library again worked hard to make the 42nd annual Arts and Artisan Fair a huge success. The fair is the library's biggest fundraiser. If the crowd I saw is any sign, it was one of the most successful to date. The artists and artisans, raffle desk and the cafeteria were all busy and the used books were flying off the tables. The effort on the part of all the volunteers prove the Library is one of the best small libraries in Maine. The year-round programs offered to both children and adults are proof that Library Director Anna Romer is doing something right. Three cheers to all the volunteers, including the baking and sandwich ladies.
