Fryeburg Academy Film will be presenting the seventh annual Student Film Festival at the Leura Hill Eastman Performing Arts Center in Fryeburg on Thursday, May 24, at 7 p.m. The evening will include an eclectic lineup of original short films written, produced, directed and edited by Fryeburg Academy students during the 2017-18 school years. As always, this is a free community event, but donations will be gratefully accepted to help support the school’s film program. The lobby will be open at 6 p.m. For more information, go to fryeburgacademy.org/pac.

The Fryeburg Recreation Field of Dreams will be closed on Saturday, May 26, as fertilization work on the fields takes place. Be sure to check out the new function center when the fields are open. It is sure to be a wonderful addition to our community.
