There are still three movies left in the library’s winter film series. The next one, “Shoplifters,” a movie from Japan, is on Sunday, Feb. 24, at 4 p.m. Stay afterward if you can for a free soup supper and a chance to discuss the film.

Freedom Friends of the Library will be presenting guest speakers Susanne Chisholm, esq from Lawson, Persson and Chisholm in Laconia and Sarah Groleau of Thrivent Financial in Freedom with their estate-planning workshop “Prepare Wisely” on Monday, Feb. 25, at 7 p.m. at the library. They will discuss various topics, including wills, trusts, end of life planning: advance directives, living will, power of attorney and strategies for maximizing a tax efficient estate. This workshop is 90 minutes, including time for questions. This program is offered free to the public by the Friends of the Library. For more information, (603) 539-5176.
