OSSIPEE — Last week's demolition of the Main Street Program building caused consternation on the board of selectmen at their recent meeting, with two board members saying they weren't informed that the building was taken down.

Meanwhile, a "boo-boo" made by one of the town's fire precincts is causing town tax bills to go out late, and that means the town has to borrow money and incur borrowing costs.
