Eaton Town Column: Community Circle finalizing 'Welcome to Eaton' booklet

Hey, did you miss me? I’m sure Carol did a wonderful job while I was down in Florida for six days visiting very special friends from long ago, like high school. I’m sorry to have missed town meeting, probably my only one, and yes, I would have voted for the rec center. Sorry, people. Thanks to all the bakers for their famous baked goods and congratulations to all the winners. I hope everyone voted, because it is our right and privilege in the United States.

The Eaton Community Circle will be taking its booklet “Welcome to Eaton” (a booklet given out to those who are new to Eaton) to the printers in April for its second printing. Last call for those who have businesses here in Eaton to advertise for free. If you provide a service, sell a product, make a craft, etc., this is the perfect way to let those newcomers know what is available right here in Eaton. We need the name of the business, phone number, owner’s name, email and a brief description of your business. You can email Jeanne Hartman at stenclgrl@hotmail.com no later than April 1. Get this out to her soon. It is a great way for new people in Eaton to know the talented people (we have artists, carpenters, jewelry makers, an old-book binder for a few) that live in this little town. Some of you newcomers might want to add your business listing, too.
