ALBANY — The World Fellowship Center, located at 368 Drake Hill Road in Albany, will be presenting “One Drop of Love,” an interactive multimedia one-woman show exploring the intersections of race, class and gender in pursuit of truth, justice and love on Saturday, July 28, at 7:30 p.m. The show is written and performed by Fanshen Cox DiGiovanni and produced by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon.

“One Drop” uses the ever-changing racial categories on the U.S. Census as the historical backdrop to this interactive show. Throughout, the audience is asked to participate in defining and redefining these categories for themselves and one another. DiGiovanni parallels this history with her own, and her family’s, search for roots, identity and for justice. Audiences will travel from the 1700s to the present, to cities around the United States and to West and East Africa, to pursue more truth — leading to more justice — and then, perhaps to love.
