CONWAY — Upper Saco Valley Land Trust, a non-profit preserving land for community benefit in the upper Saco River valley, recently received more than $200,000 in grants and donations to conserve over 400 acres of land in Albany.

The largely forested property, owned by the non-profit World Fellowship Center, boasts 3,100 feet of shorefront on pristine Whitton Pond, 2,200 feet of frontage on the Chocorua River, several suberb wetlands and small ponds, and scenic, undeveloped views along Route 16. The Upper Saco Valley Land Trust will purchase a conservation easement on the property, which will permanently protect these features and more into the future.
