BRIDGTON, Maine — First Congregational Church at 33 S. High St. in Bridgton, Maine, will be offering a series of Christmas events in the coming weeks.

Shepherds, angels, cows and wise people of all ages are welcome to join First Church for the simple and joyful “pick-up” Christmas Pageant on Dec. 18 at 10 a.m. Come 15 minutes early to don a costume. All are welcome, no rehearsals needed or lines to memorize. The service also features Prelude and Postlude by pianist and composer Dana Cunningham, as well as anthems sung by the church's junior and senior choirs, accompanied by musician Oren Varess.
