John "Jack" A. Sachetti slipped away peacefully on Feb. 20, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. He was tired after enduring a long illness and is now "going home."

One of Jack's most endearing qualities was his ability to entertain through humor and the art of story telling. Those who remember him will recognize his way of turning real life experiences into entertaining tales. He was always ready for an energetic debate and he could also bring history to life. To no one's surprise, having learned it as a youngster, he could still recite the Gettysburg Address in the entirety.
