Daniel E. Grant, 84, passed away Memorial Day at home after a very courageous battle with cancer.

Dan was born Jan. 28, 1927 in Melrose Mass. to Ernest and Katherine Grant. As a senior he left school to join the Navy and served as a helmsman until the war was over. He then came up to Bridgton Academy for a post graduate degree and to play another year of hockey.
