Obituary: Patrick Allen Smith

Patrick A. Smith, 72, passed away suddenly on Sept. 21, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas. Born in Liberal, Kan., Pat lived a life of compassion, with a deep commitment to the well-being of others.

Pat's career path was varied. From his early years as a garage band drummer to managing fast-food restaurants and working in construction, he was always learning and teaching. He was proud to be a CNA at Huggins Hospital. As a computer nerd, he worked at ComputerPort, and as a dedicated collector with a sharp eye for the unique, Pat also enjoyed working at Charlie's Comics, where he could claim first dibs on new arrivals.
