It is with great sadness that the family of Patricia H. Jones announces her passing. Pat was born in Wolfeboro, N.H., and she spent her early years in Rochester. Pat returned to Wolfeboro to attend Brewster Academy, graduating with the Class of 1961. She then attended the University of New Hampshire where she received both a bachelor’s and master’s degree. Always the student she finally earned a Ph.D from Boston University.

She was an elementary school teacher for 30-plus years — mostly at Carpenter School. She enjoyed art and was an avid artist. She often gave art lessons and shared her talents with her adult students. Her paintings adorn many homes in New England.
