Janice (Downs) Dearborn, 83, of South Tamworth, N.H., passed away Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2020, at Golden View Nursing Home in Meredith, N.H. She was born Dec. 24, 1936 a native and lifelong resident of Tamworth, N.H. She was the daughter of the late Clifford F. and Winifred (Weeks) Downs.

Janice had been employed as a telephone operator at New England Telephone Co. and worked as a secretary for Public Service Co. in Center Ossipee, N.H.; Arthur Mason Inc. in South Tamworth, N.H.; Bennett Sales & Service; Roberts Equipment and Richard Murphy Construction of Moultonborough, N.H.
