Janice Palumbo

Janice D. Palumbo (nee Murphy) died on Oct. 9, 2026, after a few years' period of declining health brought on by dementia.

She was born in Winchester, Mass. on Jan. 14, 1941, to her parents John and Gladys Murphy. She grew up in Wakefield, Mass., graduating with the Wakefield High School Class of 1958. Shortly after High School graduation she married her teenage sweetheart, Airman Jack Palumbo, at Reese Air Force base in Lubbock, Texas, beginning a devoted marriage that they would share for over 66 years.
