On Thursday, Feb. 6, 2020, Janet (Lawson) Green passed away at the age of 97 at Mineral Springs in North Conway, N.H., after a long battle with Alzheimer's.

Born on Feb. 19, 1922, in Winchester, Mass., to Eleanor (Drew) Lawson and Theodore Lawson Sr., she graduated from Reading High School in 1939 and became a Northeast airline stewardess in 1945. She married Prentice Green in Palm Beach, Fla., in 1947 and after a three month nationwide honeymoon, moved to New Hampshire.
