Jane A. Grubb, 71, passed away peacefully at her home on June 1, 2023, in the loving arms of her husband, Bruce Grubb, and surrounded by family.
Jane was born on March 28, 1952, in York, Maine, to parents James III and Ann L. Jackson. The oldest of four children, she grew up with a love of the ocean, skiing and family. Her passion for skiing and travel took her out west to Breckenridge, Colo., where she met Bruce, a ski instructor from Pennsylvania, and it was instant love. Jane and Bruce moved to the valley six months later were they got married and enjoyed 44 years together.
Oh, the memories we shared, beginning with swimming lessons for our kids at Echo Lake. We would spend a full day there watching our kids swim, catch frogs and frolicking together. Our friendship continued at Canmore where we worked for many years. Our children went to John Fuller and thrived there.
