Eugene McLaughlin

FRYEBURG, Maine — Eugene J. McLaughlin, better known as “Rusty,” passed away Saturday in the early morning on Nov. 2, 2024, after declining health over the last few years. He was a patient in Hospice care and was able to stay at Bella Point until his death.

He was born in Boston, Mass, to Eugene James McLaughlin, Sr. and Mary Haggerty McLaughlin, the first of their eight children. He grew up in Tewksbury, Mass., and graduated from Keith Academy in Lowell, Mass.,
