Rick Davidson will give a slide show presentation about the reemergence of mountain lions in our area, sponsored by North Conway Library, on Thursday, June 18.

The large predators disappeared from this area nearly a century ago when bounties were offered to hunters. But recent sightings in Ossipee, Redstone, Jackson, Wakefield, and in many other areas of the state indicate that some cats are here again.
