The Mount Washington Valley Childrens Museum announced recently that The Memorial Hospital in North Conway recently made a generous donation in the amount of $3,000. The funds will be used to set up a nursing room at the museum.The museum has also recently been awarded sizeable grants from the N.H. Charitable Foundation for the museums toddler room, the Goldberg Foundation for operating expenses, and the Ham Foundation for exhibit expenses.Executive Director David Brooks said, We are grateful for the outpouring of generosity from local organizations like The Memorial Hospital as well as regional charitable foundations. We look forward to very soon opening our doors to the community.Local residents who are looking for an enriching opportunity to help the community and see children enjoying themselves in a fun and educational environment are encouraged to volunteer at the museum.
