Manuel W. Sousa

Manuel W. Sousa, 84, husband of the late Rita (Rebal) Sousa, died Feb. 16, 2009 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon. He had been residing in Freedom.Born in Woburn, Mass., he was the father of Thomas Sousa of Stoneham, Mass, Daniel Sousa, of Freedom, and the late Richard Sousa, of Burlington, Mass.Also the brother of Fred Sousa, of Woburn, Mass., and Betty Sousa, of Oregon.Was predeceased by brothers, Jerry Sousa, Charles Sousa, Anthony Sousa and Frank Sousa; sister, Mary (Sousa) Abreu all of Woburn.Memorial mass will be held March 7, at 10 a.m. in St. Anthonys Catholic Church in Woburn, Mass.He will be buried next to his wife in the Woodbrook Cemetery in Woburn at a later date.
