Since its founding in 1989, education at The Community School has included international exchange opportunities as a way to nurture responsibility, respect, and a global perspective in its students. In two weeks, Grayson Alosa, a sophomore from Sandwich, and Madison Lavoie, a junior from Effingham, embark on a two-month trip to the Czech Republic to live with students from Litvinov.

Nascent travelers, Alosa is most excited about the role he and Lavoie will have helping to teach English classes at the Schola Humanitas, a science and math school they will attend an hour north of Prague.
