CONWAY — Several research studies conducted by the American Association for the Advancement of Science have shown that students with music education perform better academically, especially in reading and math, and otherwise are positively affected by their experience.

Dr. Victor Lazaron, a concert pianist, and the medical staff at Memorial Hospital recently donated $1,500 to support instrumental music at John H. Fuller Elementary School, Conway Elementary School and Pine Tree School.
