CONWAY — Teens in the Mount Washington Valley can once again locally receive comprehensive babysitting training, including CPR through the Safe Sitter course. The one day class is scheduled from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Dec. 30 at Memorial Hospital, in the Intervale Conference Room, on the second floor of the Physical Therapy Building.

The Safe Sitter class is designed to help students in grades 6 to 8 prevent injuries and handle emergencies when home alone, watching younger siblings or babysitting. Classes include CPR, safety training, how to run a babysitting business and how to handle issues in online and cellphone communication.
