JACKSON — Doris "Granny D" Haddock, a lifelong New Hampshire activist, famous for her cross-country walk to champion campaign finance reform at age 90, will be memorialized in the play, "Granny D: The Power of One" on Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. in the Jackson Public Library at 52 Main St. in Jackson.

Dixie Tymitz, a professional actress, wrote and stars in this one act 40-minute play. Tymitz traveled to New Hampshire to study and meet with Doris Haddock, who was herself an actress. Tymitz and her husband, John, have performed for several dozen New Hampshire schools the past few years.
