CONWAY — The Mount Washington Valley Bicycling Club, in collaboration with the Kennett High School Mountain Bike team proudly host the annual Crank the Kanc hillclimb. This challenging 21.3-mile race, featuring an elevation gain of 2340 feet, takes place each May along New Hampshire's picturesque Kancamagus Highway through the White Mountain National Forest.

This year’s hill climb will take place on Saturday, May 17. This race has a 40-year history. Steve Swenson was one of the original founders of the event, which was later managed by the Kennett High School Outing Club.
