FRYEBURG — The Fryeburg Historical Society held its annual meeting and election of officers on Jan. 26 at the home of Ellen Borden (the former home of well-known artist Benjamin Tupper Newman).

The following people were elected: Diane L. Jones, president; June O'Donal, vice president; Lonni Lewis, secretary; Elizabeth Marcello, treasurer; Linda R. Drew, Edward W. Jones, Nancy Ray and Bette Tibbetts were elected as board members along with Sally Whitaker for one year as past president.
