The Believe in Books storybook characters are out again this August with four scheduled story times at White Birch Books in North Conway Village. Clifford the Big Red Dog is next in line and he will be at the store on Tuesday, August 23, at 11 a.m., for a dog-themed story time. Parents are encouraged to bring their little onesand their camerasbecause Clifford is big and red and loves kids!The storybook characters will be visiting White Birch Books every Tuesday in August. After Clifford, the program wraps up with a visit from Tigger. All story times are scheduled for 11 a.m., will run for 30 to 45 minutes and are open to everyone."Weve had a wonderful reaction to this program," said A.O. Lucy, executive director of the Believe in Books Literacy Foundation. "Kids really enjoy just touching or hugging the characters and get a real kick out of seeing them come to life.
