The Captain Planet Foundation, an international environmental education foundation for youth based on the successful Captain Planet cartoon, has announced that Green Mountain Conservation Group has recently been awarded an educational grant of $500. Green Mountain Conservation Group will partner with local schools and use these funds toward youth environmental education programs, specifically the Volunteer Biological Monitoring Program (VBAP) and GET WET! (Groundwater Education Through Water Evaluation and testing).
