Elayna Bartolomeo, a 2007 St. Johnsbury Academy graduate, has been named one of Vermont's two State Advanced Placement Scholars.Bartolomeo, daughter of Maureen Westrick of Intervale, was selected for the honor, given to only one male and one female in each state and the district of Columbia, for her exceptional performance on last May's Advanced Placement exams. She achieved a 4.63 average out of a possible 5 points on the eight tests she took over three years. She is currently attending Tufts University in Boston.
