Exhibit of New England artists' work on display Oct. 20
The Bartlett Inn is hosting its fifth biannual artist weekend Oct. 18-21. The inn is proud to accomplish its dream of displaying local works of art and wants to share the pleasure with the public. Artists from around the Northeast come for three days to share techniques, tricks of the trade and to paint the beautiful local scenery.Participating artists will be showing works of the White Mountains and N.H. artist Byron Carr will be doing a lively water color demonstrationthe most fun you can have watching paint fly! Some works of art will be for sale by the artists. The funny thing isnow that these beautiful works of art are on display, the inn may need to be renovated up a notch of sophistication to keep up with the artwork! And as for the innkeeper, an artist in his youthhe still has another year of rejuvenations at the inn before he can paint with anything more than a semi-gloss!The exhibit will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bartlett Inn on Saturday, Oct. 20. The Bartlett Inn is located on Route 302, seven miles west from the intersection of Routes 16 and 302.Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend. There is no entrance fee and light refreshments will be served.
