CONWAY — Soyfire Candle in North Conway Village celebrates its 10-year anniversary with the debut of a new soy candle line by VERDE Co. of Allentown, Pa. Soyfire Candle is the first store in the country to sell this premium soy candle line which complements the multiple lines the store currently carries.
VERDE's product line, marketed as Classic Fragrances for the Modern World, features 24 distinctively-scented candles with a proprietary double-wicking system that maximizes fragrance throw. For the initial rollout there are two sizes, 8.4 and 16.4 ounces which are hand poured into reusable containers, with more sizes to come in the future.
Guy P. Tomme, director of product development at VERDE Co. said, "We wanted to blend our core competency of creating amazingly authentic fragrances from natural plant oils with a design that's décor-neutral and multi-functional. The distinctive style of the containers make them naturally suited for secondary uses, like organizing kitchen staples such as sugars, teas and drinking glasses. "
Soyfire Candle co-owner Sal Martignetti said, "We're very excited to be the first in the nation to carry the VERDE line because our customers expect the best from a premium candle. We pride ourselves on selling wonderfully scented candles that burn clean and last longer than regular candles."
Soyfire sells multiple lines of soy candles, bees wax and palm wax candles. Joann Daily, future owner of Soyfire Candle, said, "Everything has a way of working out. Since the Beanpod line was discontinued we've been able to bring on multiple lines like Candle Crest and Swan Creek which have been very well received. With the new VERDE line on board, we can offer our customers choices that they never had before, especially with the holiday season upon us."
