MANCHESTER — The Conway Daily Sun received the New Hampshire Press Association’s highest honor, winning first place in the General Excellence category of their Distinguished Journalism Awards at a banquet held June 25 at Saint Anselm’s College.

“It’s actually a big deal for us,” said Publisher Mark Guerringue. “There are lots of categories for stories and photos, but General Excellence is the big one. It’s like Best Picture at the Oscars.”
