CONWAY — Come and enjoy a bit of early auld lang syne on Saturday, Dec. 29, from 3-7 p.m., at Settlers Green with a display of 50 of the former Mountain Ear newspaper’s iconic covers from its first 15 years, 1976-90.
Longtime valley residents will be able to recall local luminaries like Conway parliamentarian Helen Nute, Local Yokels, ski historian Dick May, rock legends The Blend, White Mountain history collector Doug Philbrook and so many more special people and unique events of those busy years in the Mount Washington Valley.
