CONWAY — At Conway Scenic Railroad’s annual employee banquet on Saturday, Nov. 9, Susan Logan, longtime manager of marketing and events, announced her resignation.

“I'm so glad to see Dwight Smith, one of the original founders of our railroad, here today," she said. " I first met Dwight and his late wife Gee, in January of 1985 — almost 35 years ago! Our beautiful 1898 Pullman parlor car, “Gertrude Emma” was named after her. Since then, I’ve been affiliated with Conway Scenic through the Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce, through White Mountains Attractions Association, through my own business and, for the last 13 seasons, as an employee.
