CONWAY — Everyone talks about the lack of affordable housing, but a young local contractor, Ryan Jean, hopes to do something about it.

Jean, 38, founder and owner of Cathedral Ledge Contracting of North Conway, intends to develop a small subdivision of single-family homes on a 2.8-acre parcel owned by the N.H. Housing Finance Authority.
