CONWAY — Conway Scenic Railroad opens for its 45th season Saturday, April 13. There will be two “Valley Train” excursions, both to Conway, with departures at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., each lasting approximately one hour round-trip.

Trains will run weekends only until May 4, when daily operations begin.

Passengers can experience an old-fashioned train ride in enclosed, restored passenger cars, with both First Class and Coach seating options available.

Children under age 4 ride free in coach, and well-behaved dogs are always welcome.

“At Conway Scenic Railroad, you can step back to a simpler time when all longer journeys started and ended at a train station,” according to Dave Swirk, president and general manager of the railroad.

“Our Victorian station has been serving North Conway Village since 1874. We really appreciate all those visitors, tourists and locals alike, who support our efforts and ride the rails with us every year. We’re looking forward to a strong 2019 season!”
